Management Trainee Program at People's Bank

People's Bank is looking for dedicated and passionate individuals to join their Management Trainee Program. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring leaders to gain valuable experience and grow within a premier financial institution in Sri Lanka.

Eligibility and Requirements

To be considered for this program, you must be a Sri Lankan citizen and meet the following criteria:

• Age: Be 28 years old or younger as of the application closing date (September 8, 2025).

• Professional Qualification:

  • Possess full qualification as a finalist from one of these professional bodies:

    • The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (ICA-SL)

    • The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA-UK)

    • The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants of UK (CIMA-UK)

  • OR hold a minimum Level II qualification in Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

• Experience: Have at least one year of experience in Audit, Finance, Risk Management, or Compliance. Preference is given to candidates with experience in a bank, financial institution, or a reputable audit firm.

About the Program

This is a two-year, fixed-term training contract. Selected candidates will receive a monthly allowance of Rs. 100,000 and will be placed in specialized areas such as Risk Management, Audit, Finance, Compliance, or Business Revival.

During this time, you'll receive hands-on training and your performance will be evaluated annually. Upon satisfactory completion of the two-year training, you may be absorbed into the permanent cadre as an Assistant Manager (Grade 3-III), based on your performance and at the discretion of the bank's management.
